Detaching the cover
- Undo the Velcro that connects the cover to the frame.
- Fully unzip the opening at the back of the stroller.
- Undo the screws that connect the cover to the frame on the sides of the stroller. Make sure you keep the plastic washers, screws and nuts. You will need these again when attaching the cover.
- The hood is still attached to a metal rod at the back of the trolley. Some models have a zip in the back of the hood; unzipping this will release the hood from the rod.
If this zip is not there, you will have to unscrew the screws under the push bar. If you can't see these, you will have to slide up the Velcro straps so the screws are visible. - Now take the hood off the frame. If you had to unscrew the rod, remove it now from the fabric of the hood. Keep the rod and the screws, you will need them again when attaching the cover.
- The lower part of the cover can now be easily removed once all the Velcro has been undone.
Attaching the cover
- Place the lower part of the cover on the frame. Fold the front of the cover over the front bar and fasten the Velcro. Also fasten the other Velcro straps to the frame.
- If you had to detach the metal rod at the hood, this is the time to put it back in the hood.
- Place the hood on the frame. Connect the plastic parts on the side of the hood and replace the plastic washers, screws and nuts on both sides. Tighten well, but not too tightly to avoid being unable to loosen it in the future.
- If your buggy's hood had a zip, put the rod back into the zip and zip it shut. If you had to unscrew the rod, now is the time to screw it back. The rod has a curve, make sure the curve points upwards.
- Now zip up the opening at the back of the trolley now.
- Check all the Velcro straps and make sure they are firmly attached to the frame.
