The front wheel of my Comfort Air Eco or Comfort EFA Eco dog buggy is rattling. What can I do?

Experiencing a rattling noise in the front wheel of your Comfort Air Eco or Comfort EFA Eco dog buggy is not uncommon. This issue is often caused by accidentally hitting a raised edge, such as a curb or tile, without lifting the buggy. Fortunately, this problem can usually be resolved by following these steps:

  1. Unscrew the plastic splash plate located above the front wheel from the frame.
  2. You will now see a bolt; this bolt needs to be slightly tightened to ensure it is securely fastened and thereby holds the front fork in place. Do not overly tighten the bolt, as this can restrict the turning ability of the front fork.
  3. Then, reattach the plastic splash plate to the frame.

To tighten the bolt, you will need a spark plug socket spanner. You may not have this tool. You can purchase the spark plug socket spanner by contacting us through the request form. The cost is €5.95 excluding shipping charges. If you wish to place an order, please email us with your address details, so we can accurately calculate the shipping costs.

If the above solution doesn't resolve the rattling noise, it is possible that the front fork has been bent. In that case, you will need to order a replacement front fork. Contact support@innopet.nl and inquire about the availability and price of this part.

By following these steps, you can eliminate the rattling noise in the front wheel of your Comfort Air Eco or Comfort EFA Eco dog buggy and ensure a smoother ride.
